How
to save cellphone from water damaged?
Nowadays,
cellphone is one part of ourselves, how to protect our cellphone. When your smartphone
is water damaged, what would you do?
Cellphone
cannot start up, call with noise, display not normal, even it cannot repair
well, since the Circuit Board corrode too much.
So, the first step is to take out the battery to
avoid long time corrosion. (Should NOT start up the cellphone, otherwise, the
inner circuit board will short circuit, even burn out.)
If it meets clear water, you can take it easy, maybe the water make some inner parts
bad welding. There are two steps need to do now.
A. Clear the
cellphone by Absolute alcohol ----alcohol
volatile fast together with water on phone.
B. Dry the
circuit board by Air Gun carefully, BUT NOT Hair dryer.

Normally
almost cellphone will work well after above solutions. If not, the inner parts may
get rusty, have to double weld!
But if
dirty/salty water gets in, please follow below steps.
Clear
cellphone right away, dirty water will corrode circuit board, the worse the
longer invasion. Use soft hair brush to
clean dirty in the phone, ultrasonic cleaning apparatus is recommended under serious situation.
And
then, dry by air gun, double weld the inner parts.
If
cellphone still does not work, e.g. cannot start up, have to double check out, the
circuit board broken or spare parts short circuit. During trouble shooting, usually
it caused by Power supply IC issue. It will go well after change power supply
IC. You need this Tin plate plant and Soldering paste.
PS: To avoid risks, the best way
is to protect our cellphone with waterproof case.
